The first thing to do is install and lock the soft top metal frame into your Jeep Wrangler. The metal frame will be the one to connect the top to the vehicle. The metal frame will be installed and locked in two different areas of your Jeep. One is in the front of the windshield, while the other will be in the rear runner. If you are not familiar, the rear runner is located on the inside of the Jeep sides. Please note that installing and locking this frame will not be a problem since you do not need any tools.
The next step is to take the soft top but without the windows yet and place it in the installed frame. The front of the top comes with a plastic runner, which should be placed on the retainer on the front of the windshield.
