Rugged Ridge Heavy Duty Steering Long Tube With Tie Rod Ends For 1982-86 Jeep CJ Wide Track
This monster tie rod dwarfs the competition!
This bolt on kit will work with factory taper, no other modifications needed. Each tube is constructed of 11.25 OD SAE 1018 steel that is cold rooled, pierced, and drawn through dies to produce a wall thickness of .25in. This is true DOM tubing with no seams or welds to fail. Each tube has a yield strength of 53,000 lbs per square inch. This assembly is supplied with 2 heavy duty 7/8in tie rod ends that have standard tapered OE ends to fit stock knuckles. Both tie rod ends are also available as spare units under 18043.10 & 18043.26 for future replacement.
