The install is just about over. There's two more things to do. First you have to mount all of the wires and the toggle switch out of the way. The toggle switch allows you to change between the two different maps programmed into the Unichip itself (high timing or low timing). They offer you enough wire to mount the switch inside the dash. However we chose to ziptie it up out of the way behind the Unichip module. This allowed easy access to the switch, without the fear of accidently flipping it.
Now finally, crank you car and watch for a cel (check engine light). If you get one, you need to unhook the Unichip and crank the Jeep again. If the problem continues, contact Unichip directly. |
