If you look at the holes left in the side of the Jeep, you'll notice that they are two different sizes. No problem, because all the correct sized bolts are supplied. It's now time to put all the brackets on the Jeep. Don't tightened them just yet, you'll need to be able to move the brackets around to bolt the new guards on.
Because of Body Armor's high manufacturing standards, there is zero tolerance in mounting the new side guards. We found it was easiest to loosen the bolts on the brackets, and put a bolt in the outer holes of the guards. Once those are in, then you can work your way toward the middle of the Jeep. After they are all started, tighten everything down. Trust me, the finished product will be worth the hassle. |
