Warn Drive Flanges replace the locking hubs on the front axle of four-wheel-drive vehicles and allow the driving wheels to remain locked and engaged permanently. They are much stronger than any locking hub and are mostly found on off-road vehicles. They can also be used in rear applications on full-floating axles.
